Mazor protocol
CT acquisition parameters- Scan region
- Lumbar spine — L1 through S1 with pelvic brim. Coverage approx. 30 cm.
- Slice thickness
- ≤ 1.0 mm (0.625 – 1.0 mm). Contiguous, no gap, no overlap.
- Reconstruction
- Bone + soft-tissue kernels. DFOV ≤ 350 mm. Matrix 512 × 512.
- kVp / mAs
- 120 kVp · 200 – 350 mAs (or AEC with reference 250 mAs).
- Patient position
- Supine, head first, arms above head where tolerated.
- Output format
- Original axial DICOM. No compression. CD/DVD or anonymised export.
OptimalPSI protocol
CT acquisition parameters- Scan region
- Lumbar spine — T12 through S2. Coverage approx. 35 cm with iliac crest inclusion.
- Slice thickness
- 0.6 mm (0.5 – 0.75 mm). Contiguous, no gap. Helical acquisition.
- Reconstruction
- Bone kernel mandatory; soft-tissue kernel recommended. DFOV ≤ 320 mm.
- kVp / mAs
- 120 kVp · 250 – 400 mAs (or AEC with reference 300 mAs).
- Patient position
- Supine, head first. Arms above head. No lumbar support pillow.
- Output format
- Original axial DICOM only. Lossless. Patient-anonymised when uploading.
How to Create ZIP/RAR Files for Scan Upload
Follow these simple steps to prepare your scan files for upload
Mac Instructions

Creating ZIP files on Mac:
- Select all the scan files or folders you want to compress
- Right-click (or Control-click) on the selected items
- Choose "Compress" from the menu
- A ZIP file will be created automatically
Creating RAR files on Mac:
- Download and install a RAR compression tool, such as RAR Extractor or The Unarchiver.
- Open the installed RAR software.
- Look for the option like "Create Archive", "Compress to RAR", or similar.
- Select the scan files or folders you want to compress.
- Choose the RAR format and set any desired compression options.
- Click Create (or the equivalent button) to generate the RAR file.
Windows Instructions

Creating ZIP files in Windows:
- Select all the scan files or folders you want to compress
- Right-click on the selected items
- Hover over "Send to" in the context menu
- Click "Compressed (zipped) folder"
- Enter a name for your ZIP file and press Enter to save it
Creating RAR files (using WinRAR):
- Download and install WinRAR if it is not already installed.
- Select all the scan files or folders you want to compress.
- Right-click on the selected items.
- Choose "Add to archive..." from the context menu.
- In the pop-up window, select the RAR format (instead of ZIP).
- Set additional options, if necessary, and click OK to create the RAR file.
